Holiday Speed Upgrade FAQ

1. What does the "one speed tier" upgrade mean?

The promotional offer provides a free upgrade to the internet package immediately one level above your current service plan. For example, if you are currently on the Essentials plan, your free upgrade will be to the Family plan.

2. Who is eligible for this promotion?

This promotion is open to all current and new Haefele Connect internet customers with the following exceptions:

  • Customers who are currently on our Ultimate or Max service tier are not eligible, as there is no next higher tier to upgrade to.
  • To qualify for the upgrade, your account must be in good standing.

  • For New Customers: If you are signing up for a new internet plan, the free upgrade will apply to the service tier immediately above the one you initially select for a period of two months (provided it is not the fastest tier).
3. How long is the upgrade free?

The upgrade is free for two (2) months from the date your service is upgraded.

4. How will the free upgrade appear on my bill?

For the two-month promotional period, your bill will show the following to ensure transparent billing:

  • New Package Price: You will see the new, higher service tier (e.g., the Standard plan) listed at its full, standard monthly price.
  • Promotional Discount: A separate line item will show a “Holiday Upgrade Discount” that subtracts an amount equal to the difference between the full price of the new package and your previous package’s price.
  • Result: The net result is that your total bill for internet service during these two months will remain the same as your previous package price.
5. What happens after the two months? Will I be charged?

Yes. After the 2-month promotional period ends, your service will automatically continue at the new, higher speed package you received (e.g., the Standard plan, in the example above). You will be billed the full, standard monthly rate for that package starting with your next billing cycle.

6. What if I don't want to keep the faster speed package?

You are under no obligation to keep the upgraded service. To avoid being charged the full rate for the new package, you must contact Haefele Connect to revert to your previous internet package and pricing.

  • Action Required: Please contact us before the end of the 2-month promotional period to ensure you are switched back in time.
7. Can I upgrade more than one tier?

You can choose a package more than one tier above your current service (e.g., going from Basic to Premium), however, the promotional discount will only cover the equivalent cost of a one-tier upgrade.

  • You will be responsible for the remaining difference in cost between the one-tier discount and the actual higher-tier package price, even during the 2-month period.
  • After the 2 months, you will be billed the full, standard rate for the Premium package unless you contact us to change it.
8. When will the upgrade take effect?

Your upgrade will be processed within 1 business day of submitting this request. We will notify you via email when the change is complete.
